Dear Officers and Members of the California Guardian Council Associations:

             Our Grand Guardian, Mrs. Kathy Martin, has given me the opportunity to serve as Chairman of the California Alumni Committee for the 2008 year.  With this appointment comes a challenge to find as many of our Alumni as possible.  This is where a whole bunch of people come in, including you. 

             Job’s Daughters is celebrating its 85^th Anniversary in California.  With all these years to pull from, we should be able to find many of our previous adults and Daughters.   Hopefully they will enjoy being found and will again join with us. 

             The Alumni Committee is made up of people from all over California who are willing to give of their time and efforts to achieve our goal.  Our suggestion is to start with the present and work your way to the past.   Of course any names given, from any time in our history, will be greatly appreciated.  Let’s all gather our special people. 

             First, who is an Alumni?   Majority Members and those Adults who have given at least 3 years continuous service to Job’s Daughters are considered Alumni.  Please help us gather these special people.  Let them know we are thinking of them and wish to extend fellowship. 

Our goal is to find 30 Alumni from each Bethel.  This should be within our reach, especially if we start with present and past Council members, recent Majority Daughters and Daughters who have served Grand Bethel.  Let them know we are thinking of them and wish to extend the hand of fellowship. Check the addresses in your telephone list and   help accomplish this goal.  We would like to have names, titles, Bethel Nos. and contact information.   We need them even if they choose not to join the Alumni Association at this time. Don’t you wonder where those people we so much enjoyed knowing and sharing good times with are? 

Should you have questions or encouraging ideas or wish to assist, PLEASE call any member of the Committee.  Each Association has a list of the Committee Members.  We look forward to hearing from you.  We would like you and them to join the Alumni Association.
